Heating time:

  • 3 kW device: Heats 25 litres of water (from 4°C to 100°C) in 1-1.5 hours.
  • 2 kW device: Takes 1.5-2 hours to heat the same amount.

Fuse requirements:

  • 15 A fuse socket: Both devices work.
  • 10 A fuse socket:Do not use the 3 kW device—it will blow the fuse.

Extension cords:

  • For the 3 kW device, use a cord with 3 x 2.5 mm² wires.
  • For the 2 kW device, a cord with 3 x 1.5 mm² wires is enough.
  • Check your cord for markings like “3G2.5 mm².” If unsure, ask your dealer.

Safety tips:

  • Only use outdoor-rated extension cords.
  • Never use damaged cords or handle the device while it’s plugged in.

  • Treat weeds 2-4 times per growing season, depending on how thorough you want to be.
  • Use fresh water:
  • Tap water, rainwater, or clean surface water are ideal.
  • Do not use seawater. It damages the soil and the device.
  • Per square metre: Use 2-3 litres of water for a fully green area.
  • Per plant: Bigger weeds (e.g., 20 cm dandelion) need more water than smaller ones.
Nearly all plants can be destroyed. The only limit is how much water you use.
Yes. The hot water destroys plant roots, making it the only non-chemical method effective on roots. Regular treatments ensure complete destruction.
No. Steam washers are designed for cleaning, not weed control. They don’t provide the necessary thermal energy to kill weeds and roots effectively.
Pressure washers are for removing dirt with cold water. They won’t kill weeds or affect their roots.
